Basics of Monogramming
Font Types
BasePac 21 Monogram has four classes of font types.
- GF - The GF font has a special GiS boldness function in order to widen these hand punched fonts. They can also be filled with other stitch types with size permitting.
- PF - These fonts are also hand punched. The PF can be made bolder, although with a more simple algorithm. They can be used in any size and can be filled with satin or step stitches.
- TT - The TT fonts are fonts which are defined as an outer contour. You can alter the contour and stitch direction lines. The outer contour can also be divided with cut lines and filled with a variety of stitch types, giving you control and creativity.
- SF - SF fonts are only stitch data fonts. These fonts cannot be enlarged or made bolder, they are punched for the size that is given.
